First 2026 Cruise to Shelbyville!
About this event
The first cruise of the year is being planned for January 17. We'll take a short cruise down to Shelbyville and visit the Garland King Museum. Garland King was the fire chief in Shelbyville for many years, and a collector of all sorts of things, including cars, tools and more (including fire fighting equipment)!! His collection(s) now reside in the old High School, and it is full of all manner of memorabilia! For a preview, check out this episode of Tennessee Crossroads:

The museum is only open by appointment , so this is your good chance to see what all is inside.
After a visit to the museum, we can hit up a local eatery for lunch. More details on the restaurant coming soon. An RSVP for lunch will probably be requested later to let the cook know how many to expect. More details on the planning and driving route are still to be determined but save the date for this cruise on January 17!
